One thing WWE superstars really hate is when a fan decides to be a critic of WWE’s creativity. HHH, the Undertaker or AJ Styles – name it! All of them has shown displeasure of the supposed critics. Whereas AJ was rather soft while addressing the issue, Undertaker took a much hardline and defined the self-proclaimed Expert fans as JOKES. However, while criticizing the ‘Experts’ nobody was probably as savage as the Game – HHH.
The readers must be wondering what is the relation between the Headline and the 1st paragraph! Well, it was just a spoiler that, I am not an ‘Expert’ and not trying to be one. The following is only a list of some of my favourite WWE superstars who I believe have the quality to rule the main event scene for the better part of the next decade. They are young, they are hungry (not as hungry as the Boogeyman) and obviously, they stand out of the crowd.
5. Tyler Bate:
Unfortunately, I did not follow WWE UK Championship. So, no offence intended the first time I saw the picture from the competition, I thought the guy who won the belt was not wearing any pant. That would have been extreme even for the Brits! Well, if you have seen footages of the celebration then my first impression probably is not a shocker for you.
As soon as I found out he was indeed wearing something under huge the belt, I actually decided to watch some of his matches. And boy! Isn’t him a treat! He is maybe only 21 (at the time of winning the title 19), but this kid can out-wrestle any veteran. With a Kalisto like agility, he got the power of a John Cena. I am not yet sure of his Promo-cutting quality but if he can master that, Tyler Bate can serve the company as a Top face for a very long time.
4. Velveteen Dreams:
It’s true, I am not a huge fan of this Prince ripoff gimmick. Yet, nobody can deny of sheer charisma this guy brings to the stage. Is he good at the ring? YES! Does he have a good and deep voice? YES! Does he look good? Keeping in mind of the horrendous gimmick YES he does. Could he sell a feud against one of the best wrestler on the present NXT roster? Oh hell YES!
Dream’s performance against Alyster Black was widely praised. Former Universal champ and the best freaking superstars of WWE other than AJ Styles, Kevin Owens even praised his performance. I just hope he won’t fade into the obscurity like a character which is quite similar to this one – Goldust.
3. Lio Rush:
According to me, Rush is the best wrestler on the list. After the infamous Emma incident for which he came under much heat from the locker room, his future with WWE is looks grim. However, WWE should understand that a 23 year older may have felt the rush and did something inappropriate.
With the set of moves, Lio developed at this early age, if he gets proper chance and brushes up his mic skill then he can pretty well turn out to be the M.O.T.D. – Man of the Decade.
2. Pete Dunne:
If I am asked to say one thing about Pete, I would say he is ‘ready’. He’s maybe 24 only, but this guy knows how to wrestle and how to sell his moves. He can get on the main roster any day and if he does, he will get over the WWE universe with ease. If WWE decides to merge the UK troupe with 205, it will be a disastrous decision to include Dunne and Bate in that.
I believe Dunne would be great as a member of a stable like Evolution, to begin with. He needs good matches. That’s it. He is young (like all other’s on the list) and got time to reach the top. Even if he is given opportunities, for example, the US or the IC title, I don’t think it will look too early for him.
1. Adam Cole:
Adam Cole is the oldest wrestler on the list and also the most accomplished one. ROH, PWG, CZW heavyweight championship, 5-star matches – this guy has achieved everything before he turned 28. I see him in the main event within the next 3-4 years maximum. The leader of the ‘Shock the System’ movement had definitely got one of the best catchphrases in the industry right now.
Adam Cole is rumoured to be the next NXT champion, which seems quite fitting to be frank. I would love to hear the ‘Adam Cole Bay Bay’ chant ruling over WWE and getting over with the audience more than the “You Can’t see me” SHIT!
